Estimating Engineer
Location: Abingdon
Salary: Circa 55K - 60K + Benefits
Estimating Engineer required by established, high-tech Manufacturing Company specialising in complex precision engineered components for highly regulated industries
This is a varied, commercially focused role where you'll be responsible for reviewing technical drawings and customer requirements, producing manufacturing estimates and quotations, liaising with suppliers and customers, and helping manage projects through to completion. You'll also work closely with production and supply chain teams to improve profitability, reduce costs and ensure projects are delivered right first time.

Essential:
- Strong mechanical engineering/manufacturing background
- Ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience producing estimates/quotations within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Good communication and customer-facing skills

Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience within a subcontract machining company
- Account management/project management experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement techniques
