Senior Estimator

Location: Cwmbran

Salary: GBP 60,000 - GBP 80,000

Our client delivers high-quality structural steelwork across major UK sectors, including transport hubs, rail infrastructure, specialist architectural projects, and international developments.

With a strong and varied project portfolio, ranging from airports and rail works to bespoke architectural builds and global infrastructure, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to support continued growth and play a key role in securing and delivering standout projects.

Job Description

  • Price a diverse range of high-profile projects across major infrastructure, transport, and specialist builds
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and project specifications to produce accurate estimates
  • Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs), pricing models, and tender submissions
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors, assess quotations, and contribute to tender strategy
  • Support value engineering initiatives and assist in identifying and mitigating project risks

Experience

  • Previous experience in estimating within structural steel or construction environments
  • Confident in interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Effective communicator, able to liaise across both technical and commercial teams
