We are looking for an Estimator / Bid Manager for our Bristol office.
At Boccard, we deliver complex engineering solutions across some of the most demanding and regulated industries, including nuclear, energy, and process sectors. With a strong heritage, international presence, and a growing UK footprint, we are passionate about driving innovation, quality, and long-term partnerships with our clients.
We are now looking for an Estimator / Bid Manager, to join our Bristol team, someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial insight to shape winning proposals and drive project success from the very beginning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in how we secure and deliver high-value engineering projects, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

What we're looking for
- Strong experience (4 years minimum) in estimating, cost management, or bid management within engineering, EPC, or related sectors
- A solid understanding of cost build-up, pricing, and financial analysis
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability
- Experience preparing cost proposals and tender submissions for clients
- Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders
Nice to have in an Estimator
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments (not essential)
- Engineering background (mechanical, civil, or similar)
- Knowledge of commercial frameworks or contracts (e.g. NEC)
