Estimator
Estimator / Surveyor – Scaffolding
Location: Preston, Lancashire Salary: Competitive + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Join a growing specialist in access solutions
We are looking for an organised, commercially minded Estimator to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on site as much as they enjoy producing accurate quotations and building strong customer relationships.
The role combines site surveying, customer liaison and estimating, making it ideal for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from initial enquiry to quotation.
The Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Visiting customer sites to carry out detailed surveys.
- Meeting clients to understand their project requirements and provide technical advice.
- Building long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Producing accurate, competitive quotations and cost estimates.
- Interpreting drawings, specifications and site requirements.
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure proposed solutions are practical and deliverable.
- Following up quotations and supporting the sales process where required.
- Maintaining accurate records using the company’s CRM and estimating systems.

What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in candidates who have:
- Previous estimating, surveying, or technical sales experience.
- A background within scaffolding, access solutions, construction, temporary works, powered access, or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Confidence when visiting customer sites and discussing technical solutions.
- A full UK driving licence.
