We are looking to recruit a Full Time Estimator. This position will be based at our office in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your career, by becoming an integral part of our Estimating team.

About The Role
General Responsibilities
- Thorough measurement of facades and panelisation of schemes.
- Thorough review of tender documents, drawings, specifications.
- Ensure comprehensive record keeping is maintained.
- Reporting to Head of Estimating.
- Ensure all reporting (external and internal) is delivered on time.
Departmental & Client Interface
- Pre, Mid & Post Tender meetings.
- Cost advice to Architects, PQS, Developers and Main Contractors.
- Dealing with clients Pre & Post Sales.
- Working alongside Pre-Construction, Sales and Marketing Colleagues
Estimation / Tendering
- Compiling estimates, budgets and cost plans.
- Assessing material, labour and equipment costs.
- Analysing different quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ability to identify risks and opportunities.
- Preparation of documentation.
- Compiling Quality Tender Submissions.
Technologies and Quantification
- Ability to utilise 3D models, IT equipment, drawings and specifications.
- Open to exploring the use of different construction technologies in the industry.

What we are looking for
- A 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics (Degree/Diploma) is desirable; however, equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience in subcontracting, technical, architectural, or engineering fields would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3/4 years' experience with a subcontractor, contractor or PQS practice.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple projects.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
