Engineering Estimator
Salary: £35,000
An opportunity for an experienced Engineering Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for engineering, machining and fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Assess material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support project teams with accurate scopes and cost information.
- Maintain estimating records and cost databases.

Skills & Experience
- Previous estimating experience within engineering, machining or fabrication.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- CAD experience desirable.

Benefits & Hours
- £35,000 salary (depending on experience).
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm.
- Friday: 7:30am-2:30pm.
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
