Role: Estimator
Location: Elgin/Inverness
About the Role

As an Estimator, you’ll contribute to projects that shape the built environment and foster a more sustainable future.
What You’ll Do
- Provide sub-contractor enquiries
- Produce material enquiries in conjunction with the buying department
- Compile analytical tenders for all projects, including:
- Bills of quantities
- Specifications
- Drawings
- Generate quantities from drawings when required
- Prepare on-costs in liaison with planning and operations departments
- Report to and advise Senior Management on projects during tender adjudication
- Collaborate with the Design Team as necessary throughout the tendering process
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Undertake any additional duties as required by Senior Management
What You’ll Need
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a Built Environment discipline
- Estimating experience within a relevant sector in the construction industry
- RICS membership (desirable)

What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring a proven track record in estimating for construction projects, along with the following:
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Accurate reporting skills

- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
