Job Title: Estimator Specialist Joinery & Woodworking

Remuneration: £38,000 - £40,000neg

The Role
The role of Estimator Specialist Joinery & Woodworking will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a high-end range of bespoke furniture & joinery projects for residential sectors (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets, surfaces, etc.)
- Managing projects from initial enquiry through to final quotation, ensuring accurate and commercially viable pricing
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope, materials, quantities, and project requirements
- Producing detailed take-offs, BOQs, and quotations within required deadlines
- Estimating material, labour, manufacturing, and installation costs
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain costs for specialist materials and outsourced requirements
- Working closely with designers, architects, clients, and production teams throughout the estimating process
- Providing technical support, answering client queries, and maintaining strong relationships
- Supporting project handovers and monitoring costs through to completion

The Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Specialist Joinery & Woodworking with:
- Must have estimating experience within the joinery, bespoke interior products, furniture market, or closely related sectors
- Great technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials, and costs
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
