£50,000 - £60,000 + Training + Hybrid + Progression + Car Allowance + Office Based + Site Visits + Personal Medical Insurance

Are you an Estimator with a background in construction and looking to step into a role where you will work alongside 2 other Estimators on painting and decorating projects nationwide offering hybrid working, £5000 car allowance and a mix of office and site visits where no two days are the same?

With 50 years' experience as a painter and decorating contractor, this growing company covers every industry for their perfect finishing touches. Current projects include working on airports and prisons over the UK, and its proven record has seen a growth in their business demanding an Estimator to help forecast each new project.

This varied and autonomous role will be split between the Office, home, and site visits -forecasting project costs, analysing resources, and providing accurate financial and material estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will support and mentor Junior Estimators and report to the Commercial Director.

This role would suit someone with estimating experience from the Construction or painting and decorating industry looking to join a well-established family run company.

The Role

  • Produce Estimates and pricings based on drawings and specific construction projects
  • Support Junior Estimators and work closely with Senior Estimators
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director

Schedule:

  • Mon-Thurs (8:30am-5pm)
  • Fri (8:30am-4pm)
  • Hybrid once probation completion

The Person:

  • Estimator or Senior Estimator
  • Experience in Construction or painting and decorating industry
  • Willing to communicate to Carlisle once a week and Site Visits (Mainly Northwest)
