An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its manufacturing team based in Leeds.
Working within a specialist manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for bespoke engineering projects, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to quotation.
The Role
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations from drawings, specifications and customer enquiries.
- Liaise with engineering, production and commercial teams to develop accurate pricing.
- Source and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Review technical information and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain estimating records and ensure quotations are submitted within agreed timescales.
- Support the handover of successful projects to the manufacturing team.

About You
- Previous estimating experience within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or a similar technical environment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
