Civil Engineering Estimator | Infrastructure | Heavy Civils
Location: Brigg
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Company Car + Package
NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Civil Engineering Estimator to join a growing contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure and heavy civils projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with a strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities or reinforced concrete works to join a business with a strong pipeline of long-term projects.
The Role
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documentation
- Producing take-offs and pricing labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages
- Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Assessing project risks and commercial considerations during tender stage
- Liaising with operational and commercial teams throughout the bid process
- Supporting value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
- Attending pre-tender and client meetings where required
- Supporting successful project delivery from tender through to award

The Candidate
- Minimum 5 years' experience within civil engineering estimating
- Strong civils or infrastructure background essential
- Experience pricing highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities or RC works
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
