Are you an Estimator with a background in pipefitting or similar, looking to develop your career within a growing mechanical engineering business?
On offer is the opportunity to join a growing mechanical engineering business during an exciting phase of expansion, working closely with the Senior Estimator and project teams to produce accurate and commercially robust tender submissions. You will translate drawings and specifications into detailed cost build-ups that reflect real site conditions and fabrication capability.
In this role you'll work closely with the Senior Estimator and project teams, supporting the preparation of accurate and commercially sound tenders, translating drawings and specifications into detailed costings that reflect real site conditions.

This would suit an Estimator from a pipefitting background or similar looking to grow within a commercial role. This is a great opportunity to join a growing mechanical contractor, working alongside an experienced Senior Estimator and building a long-term career in estimating.
The Role:
- Prepare cost estimates for mechanical pipework installation projects
- Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope
- Carry out take-offs and build labour and material costings
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
