About the Company
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our pre-construction activities, delivering competitive tenders and supporting commercial growth.
About the Role
You’ll manage the full tender lifecycle, from enquiry to handover, working closely with Commercial and Delivery teams to secure profitable work and drive strong client relationships. This role is based onsite with site visits required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive tenders from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities
- Carry out take-offs and pricing using estimating software
- Manage tender pipeline within CRM, ensuring opportunities are tracked and followed up
- Engage with contractors and clients to maximize conversion rates
- Attend site visits to assess scope, risk, and build relationships
- Support early engagement, value engineering, and budget estimates
- Lead tender handovers and produce clear project documentation
- Mentor junior estimators and support team development
- Contribute to pipeline reviews, major bids, and framework submissions

Qualifications
- Proven estimating experience within painting & decorating or similar construction trades
- Strong knowledge of BoQs, drawings, specifications, and measurement methods
- Experience pricing projects from small works to large commercial contracts
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Confident managing multiple tenders and working with CRM/estimating systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
