£85,000 – £100,000 p.a + Travel Allowance + Bonus + Pension | Full-Time | Immediate Start


About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate Development & Tender Support
    • Thoroughly review tender documentation
    • Create detailed cost estimates for commercial/industrial projects
    • Analyse drawings, specifications, and project designs to identify costs and inefficiencies

  • Procurement & Risk Mitigation

    • Conduct material and subcontractor inquiries, ensuring cost-effective partnerships
    • Schedule site visits and project meetings to assess feasibility
    • Proactively identify potential financial, logistical, and operational risks
  • Collaborative Execution

    • Work cross-functionally with architects, project managers, and site teams
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
    • Feed cost insights back into design phases to optimise budgets

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential

✔ 5+ years’ minimum as a Senior Estimator or comparable role in construction/industrial environments ✔ Extensive knowledge of construction methods, cost estimation principles, and industry regulations ✔ Advanced proficiency in software tools: Excel, PMS,’échanges, or equivalent estimating systems ✔ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, margin optimisation, and ROI-driven decision-making ✔ Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities

Preferred Includes

🔹 Previous experience in high-value residential or commercial fit-outs, data centres or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects 🔹 Familiarity with contract documentation (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) 🔹 Experience in leader-led teams, with management skills
