Ready to work on engineering projects that make a real impact? We're recruiting for an Estimator to join a global leader in the aerospace industry. This is an opportunity to work on innovative aircraft modification programmes, turning customer requirements into technically sound, commercially viable engineering solutions.
Working within a collaborative engineering team, you'll support projects from initial concept through to project handover, partnering with engineering, commercial, procurement and programme teams to deliver world-class solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Appointed Estimator:
- Develop engineering solutions for aircraft modification programmes.
- Produce technical work statements, estimates, schedules and project plans.
- Prepare costings, pricing models and risk assessments.
- Create high-quality technical proposals for customer submission.
- Support successful project handover into delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and best practice.
- Occasionally travel within the UK and internationally to support projects.

The Ideal Experience For This Position Will Be:
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Around 5+ years' experience within aerospace or aviation.
- Experience supporting aircraft modifications or engineering programmes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of aerospace certification and regulatory requirements.
- Experience producing engineering estimates or technical proposals.
