Role Description
This is a full-time role located in the Reading Area (with travel to customer sites nationwide) for an estimator/commercial manager. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation, review, and management of tenders and orders.
- Attending site surveys and estimating.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitoring project budgets and timelines.
- Maintaining clear records of contract correspondence.
- Providing support in negotiations.
- Handling administrative tasks related to contract management.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and client requirements.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of estimating, compliance, and documentation.
- Estimating with significant use of excel spreadsheets and drawing measurement tools.
- Project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and tracking deliverables.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and capability to analyze and interpret project/order requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
- Experience in construction, interior fit-out, or refurbishment sectors.
- Candidates should live within a commutable distance of Reading, Berkshire.
