ETF Capital Markets Specialist

ETF Capital Markets Specialist - Robeco

Drive liquidity, support new ETF launches, and strengthen Robeco’s presence in global markets as part of a high-impact ETF role.

Robeco is expanding its ETF platform and is seeking an ETF Capital Markets Specialist to contribute to the growth of our ETF business. This role will involve collaborative work with market makers, Authorised Participants (APs), portfolio managers, operations, and sales teams, ensuring seamless trading across primary and secondary markets. What you’ll do

  • Ensure efficient trading and execution across both primary and secondary ETF markets.
  • Collaborate with Authorised Participants (APs), portfolio managers, and operations on primary market processes.
  • Monitor intraday spreads, trading activity, and liquidity to support competitive market performance.
  • Develop or improve tools for liquidity insights and market analysis.
  • Provide data-driven ETF market insights to clients and sales teams.
  • Contribute to new ETF launches and enhance existing products.
  • Maintain strong relationships with market makers, brokers, and ETF ecosystem partners.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Identify process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency.
  • Offer liquidity and pre-trade analysis to support distribution and client needs.
  • Track market trends and competitor developments to inform platform strategy.

What you’ll bring

  • Around 5 years of related finance experience, preferably in ETF capital markets, ETF-related trading, or operations roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, Morningstar, and preferably Python.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and comfort in taking ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical topics.
  • Detail-oriented, with a capacity to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • A willingness to learn and embrace new challenges within the growing ETF industry.
