Your role
We are currently looking for an experienced sales professional to join UBS AM’s ETF & Index Funds Sales team who can play a key role in the growth of our business. The successful candidate will be expected to be a key driver of sales activity by further strengthening existing client relationships as well as prospecting for new business opportunities in our market.
The new joiner will:
- Develop and execute effective sales and distribution strategies to drive ETF & index funds sales growth in the UK & Ireland
- Work closely together with sales colleagues in driving diversified book of business across multiple client segments
- Implement business plans in a focused and sustainable manner
- Collect and monitor intelligence on the ETF market to better target client segments
- Manage client relationships
- Provide UBS ETF education trainings to clients as well as internal stakeholders
- Exhibit and share best practices across European sales force
- Ensuring all regulatory and legal requirements and standards are met to exacting standards
- Maintain very thorough CRM processes in monitoring activities and sales opportunities
- Be a strong representative of UBS at client conferences/industry forums.

Your team
You will be part of a high performing European ETF & Index Fund Sales team and will be contributing to the growth in the UBS’s market share in the ETF and index funds market. In addition, you will be part of a well-established UBS Asset Management team, which already has a substantial footprint in the UK across key client segments such as asset managers, international private banks and wealth management firms.

Your expertise
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in successfully distributing investment products (ETFs & index funds and/or mutual funds) and managing client relationships in the UK
- Proven expertise in building and developing client relationships and successfully selling investment products to a professional client base (with key client segments such as Asset Managers, Private Banks, Wealth Managers and DFMs). Existing relationships with additional client segments would also be helpful
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK professional investment industry and solid understanding of investment markets
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg. Prior experience with CRM applications also required
- Ability to translate macro and portfolio considerations into implementation ideas as well as ability to consolidate customers' needs and communicate them to management
- Investment management qualification and/or CFA designation would be a major advantage
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Energetic and resilient personality with a results-orientated mindset
- Well organized, diligent and an ability to think laterally. Ability to manage time-lines and deliver under time pressure
- Strong team player who can partner across other groups, regions and lines of business, while driving a specific sales agenda for UBS Asset Management
- Comfortable working at all levels of seniority, both within the UBS Asset Management organisation and with senior management of the client
- Ability to work in an international environment in a firm with global organisational structures
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
