Job Description

Energy and Commodities (E&C) Trading organizations have invested heavily in E/CTRM platforms over the last two decades. Yet the organizations creating real competitive advantage today are not simply the ones with the best trading systems. They are the ones building the data ecosystems, user experiences and intelligent decision-support capabilities around them. As the industry accelerates towards AI-enabled operations and increasingly data-driven trading models, the focus is shifting from system implementation to enterprise-wide trading transformation.

Publicis Sapient partners with many of the world's leading Energy Trading organizations to navigate that shift. Our teams work across the full trading technology landscape, helping clients modernize ETRM estates, architect data-led ecosystems and unlock greater value from their trading platforms. This creates opportunities for experienced practitioners to apply their expertise beyond traditional package implementation, influencing how the next generation of trading organizations operate, scale and compete.

ETRM Operations Lead (Openlink Endur)

As an ETRM Operations Lead at Publicis Sapient, you will bring deep expertise in managing, supporting and optimizing Endur environments within complex Energy Trading organizations. Acting as a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders, you will help clients enhance operational effectiveness, improve platform performance and evolve their ETRM operating landscape to meet the demands of modern trading businesses.

Your Impact

  • Lead and manage the Endur application support team, including mentoring, task allocation and performance management.
  • Ensure timely resolution of production incidents, service requests and system problems.
  • Collaborate with various business teams from Front, Middle and Back office to provide daily support for the application.
  • Coordinate with the global support team to effectively manage client expectations.
  • Provide reporting and analytics to management regarding system performance, incident trends and support metrics.
  • Provide deep operational expertise across Openlink Endur environments within Energy Trading organizations.
  • Help clients optimize and enhance day-to-day ETRM operations across business-critical trading platforms.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify operational challenges, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities within Endur environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Endur operational processes, platform utilization and operational best practices.
  • Support clients in understanding how trading workflows, operational processes and Endur capabilities interact within live production environments.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to assess current-state operating models and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders through practical Endur expertise, strong consulting skills and hands-on delivery capability.
  • Contribute directly to delivery as a practitioner, helping clients improve operational effectiveness and maximize value from their ETRM investment.
  • Support modernization initiatives by helping clients evolve Endur operating models, processes and platform capabilities.
  • Contribute to transformation programs that enable more data-driven and efficient trading operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
