EUC Architect
London, Docklands (Hybrid)
£100,000 - £110,000 per annum + annual discretionary bonus
On behalf of a leading global financial technology organisation, I am seeking an experienced End User Computing Architect to join its Architecture & Technology division. This is a senior role with significant influence over digital workspace strategy, architectural standards, and the future direction of end-user platforms across the business.
The End User Computing Architect will design and govern secure, scalable, and efficient digital workspace solutions across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VDI environments, and enterprise applications (M365/Intune/SCCM). You will provide technical leadership, develop architectural blueprints, and ensure alignment with strategic, operational, and security objectives.
The organisation is pleased to offer the role on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in their Canary Wharf office, therefore you must be within a reasonable commute of London.

- Solution design – Produce high-level designs, conceptual architectures, and options papers.
- Architecture development – Create and maintain architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices.
- Technical leadership – Lead EUC architecture across projects, ensuring effective integration and adherence to best practice.
- Strategic contribution – Support the development and evolution of the End User Computing strategy.
- Continuous improvement – Enhance architectural governance, reference architectures, and product roadmaps.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Partner with Enterprise, Infrastructure, Security, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Skills / experience required
- Strong background in end user computing architecture, engineering, and platform design.
- Experience of the above within a regulated financial services environment is essential.
- Proven experience delivering solutions using on-premises and cloud technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of risk management within technology environments.
- Experience providing technical guidance and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
- Ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity and diverse stakeholder needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical requirements
- Endpoints: Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VDI.
- Endpoint management: Intune, SCCM.
- Virtualisation: Citrix, VMware, VDI platforms.
- Cloud productivity ecosystems: Microsoft 365 (Office, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot), Google Workspace.
- Identity & Access Management: Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, Okta, Conditional Access.
- Security: Endpoint security, Zscaler, NetScaler, Zero Trust frameworks.
- Operating systems: Windows 11, macOS.
- Third-party tooling: Ability to assess and recommend complementary technologies.
