EUC Core Technical Specialist
EUC Core Technical Specialist (Onsite, Wimbledon) — Permanent Position
Domestic & General is growing rapidly across 14 countries, protecting the appliances that support homes while extending the life of everyday devices. To maintain productivity, we’re seeking a EUC Core Technical Specialist to ensure our teams have seamless access to essential technology.
About The Role
The EUC Core Technical Specialist will work within the EUC Core Support team, responsible for managing the deployment, maintenance, and support of:
- Desktops & laptops
- AV equipment
- Printers & peripherals
Your role ensures optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction through deskside support and hardware lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee deployment, maintenance, and support of all physical end-user computing devices.
- Provide effective deskside support for hardware and security compliance.
- Manage hardware lifecycle processes to extend device longevity.
- Handle incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain compliance across endpoints and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
- Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency.
- Optimise hybrid endpoint management using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and JAMF (macOS).
- Conduct proactive maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for knowledge sharing.

Skills & Experience Required
- Understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Proficiency in Windows 11, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM, Intune), JAMF (macOS).
- Broad expertise in:
- HP desktops & laptops, Surface devices, MacBooks (including JAMF)
- Adobe Creative Cloud, Cisco, CrowdStrike, bespoke applications
- Azure, Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP/DNS
- Strong foundation in:
- Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Microsoft Teams).
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE) preferred.
- Compliance knowledge (security, antivirus, corporate standards).
- Experience in SLA-driven service environments with robust documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with remote management tools (e.g., VNC).
- Effective communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Working knowledge of meeting room technology & peripherals.
