The Opportunity
The End-User Compute (EUC) Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of end-user computing services across the organisation. This includes managing hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile devices), operating systems, and associated software platforms to ensure secure, efficient, and user-centric IT services.
The role provides leadership in:
- Defining EUC strategy
- Implementing technology standards
- Driving continuous improvement to enhance employee productivity and experience
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and maintain the EUC roadmap, aligning with organisational goals to ensure scalability, security, and compliance with industry best practices.
Device Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of end-user devices, including procurement, configuration, deployment, patching, and end-of-life (EOL) processes.

Technology Standards & Governance
- Develop and enforce EUC technology standards, ensuring adherence to:
- IT policies
- Security frameworks
- Regulatory requirements
Operational Excellence
- Manage day-to-day EUC operations, including:
- Incident resolution
- Os upgrades
- Application updates
- Maintaining high service levels and user satisfaction
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Collaborate with third-party providers and internal teams to:
- Optimise EUC services
- Negotiate contracts
- Ensure cost-effective solutions
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor EUC team members, fostering a culture of:
- Accountability
- Innovation
- Continuous improvement
Project Delivery
- Drive EUC-related projects, such as:
- Technology refresh programs
- Cloud adoption initiatives
- Automation of provisioning processes
Requirements
Functional and Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows OS, macOS, and mobile platforms
- Microsoft 365 (M365), including Power Platform
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Autopilot
- Active Directory
- Endpoint security solutions
- Proficiency in:
- Patch management
- OS upgrades
- Device encryption standards
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM best practices for:
- Asset management
- Configuration management
Infrastructure & Automation
- Understanding of virtualisation technologies:
- VMware
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions
- Experience with automation tools for:
- Device provisioning
- Configuration management

Desirable Certifications
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel to Escode office locations globally
- Occasional overnight stays away from home may be required
