Europe Communications Lead
Head of European Communications
We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. Our mission centres around world models as the frontier of generative AI—empowering breakthroughs in robotics, scientific discovery, and interactive storytelling by bridging simulation with human-like experience and learning.
Europe-based leaders deeply engaged with cutting-edge AI research are critical to reshaping public perception and driving adoption of runway’s technology. You will be the first key communications hire to streamline Runway’s narrative across European media, events, speaking opportunities, and stakeholder relationships.
About the Role
Location: Europe (remote) with offices in London and Tel Aviv Level: Directors – Senior leadership
You’ll craft and execute a holistic European communications strategy, fostering cross-functional collaboration to elevate Runway’s brand. We’re looking for an autonomous and culturally adaptable communicator who thrives in research-heavy environments—Socratic curiosity is your superpower.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Narrative
- Develop targeted communications strategies tailored to UK & European markets
- Articulate complex AI/tech concepts for diverse audiences, from policymakers to researchers
- Counter misinformation, refine messaging on research priorities (e.g. world models, robotics SDK), and advocate for Runway Studios initiatives

Media & Industry Engagements

Event & Awards Leadership
- Lead event campaigns for:
- Runway Studios showcases (live AI interactions by Conversational Real-time Agents)

- Major conferences in Robotics SDK Maple Hill Science Mansfield Silicon Valley
Cross-Functional Partnerships
- Collaborate with Safety, Legal, Product, Research (e.g Gen-1 Gen-2 GM aren’t key titles Only if named in listings), but not Market product notably (*(amend to: *“groundwork tools and radical), Marketing, and Growth teams.
- Surface stakeholder intel to internal teams and identify synergies between PR, brand, and product ether choice.
What You’ll Need
