Description

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an experienced Europe Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the pan-regional digital marketing strategy for our theatrical film slate across Europe. This role will support the definition and execution of high-impact digital and social campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and box office performance, while ensuring consistency with global positioning and flexibility for local market execution.

You will work closely with Europe Marketing, Media, PR & Insights teams, as well as global and local Amazon MGM offices, to deliver innovative, data-led digital campaigns that connect audiences with Amazon MGM films at every stage of the theatrical lifecycle. This role also plays a key part in shaping how audience data (1st, 2nd and 3rd party) are applied to theatrical marketing campaigns across the region.

This position reports into the Europe Regional Theatrical Marketing Lead.

Key Job Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Oversee pan-regional digital marketing strategy for Amazon MGM theatrical releases across Europe working closely with Europe Marketing, Creative and Media teams to deliver campaigns that meet defined KPIs and business objectives.
  • Oversee the digital strategy for key marketing moments, including trailer launches, key global campaign beats, activations / experiential opportunities, press tours and creative content days, ensuring coordinated global rollouts and optimisation across markets.
  • Collaborate with global, regional and local market teams to develop and execute creator strategies, identifying opportunities to amplify priority moments and build culturally relevant, high-impact creative.
  • Leverage analytics, social listening tools and market insights to analyse performance, audience behaviour and cultural trends, using learnings to refine campaign positioning and planning.
  • Define, track and optimise digital and social KPIs at both a campaign and Studio brand level, working in collaboration with senior management.
  • Drive innovation in audience engagement strategies across Europe; testing new platforms, formats and approaches to maximise reach and impact.

Data Strategy and Collaboration

  • Lead the pan-regional data strategy for theatrical digital marketing, overseeing best practice in the use of data management platforms and performance measurement tools.
  • Collaborate with the wider Amazon organisation to apply Amazon audience data and insights to theatrical digital campaigns, improving targeting, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Senior Theatrical Marketing Manager, Europe Trade & Brand Collaboration on data collaborations with exhibition partners, helping to integrate exhibitor data into campaign planning, activation and evaluation.
  • Ensure data privacy, compliance and governance standards are adhered to across all digital activations.

Creative Execution

  • Work with Europe Marketing, Creative and Media teams to lead the creative direction for theatrical digital marketing campaigns for the region, ensuring strong storytelling and audience-first execution.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Int’l Digital Marketing Manager on quick turn talent activations and debuts, providing strategic recommendations and market prioritization.
  • Oversee the localisation of digital marketing materials, coordinating with global and local Amazon MGM offices to balance global consistency with local market relevance.
  • Maintain brand consistency while pushing for maximum creative impact across all digital and social executions.
  • Manage and collaborate with external partners and agencies (including creative, media, creator and social agencies) to deliver campaigns that cut through in a crowded digital landscape.
  • Oversee digital creative workflows, approvals and timelines to ensure assets are delivered on time and to a high-quality bar.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Team Development

  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with local, regional and global teams to enable the effective rollout of digital marketing campaigns across Europe.
  • Coordinate closely with Creative, PR and Media teams to maximise earned, owned and paid digital opportunities and ensure cohesive campaign execution.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability development, sharing best practice and supporting career growth.
  • Champion creative excellence, innovation and operational rigour across the organisation, identifying opportunities to expand and amplify successful local activations across markets.
  • Facilitate ideation sessions and knowledge-sharing forums to drive innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social marketing ideally within film, entertainment, or media
  • Proven track record in end-to-end campaign development.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social platforms, creator marketing and content ecosystems across Europe markets.
  • Experience working with data, analytics and performance measurement tools to inform strategy and optimise campaigns.
  • Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority campaigns simultaneously.
