Location: London, UK Team: Grow squad – building a comprehensive global investment and savings suite

About the Role

We’re pioneering the world’s best international account experience by launching Assets—a new hybrid bank account that lets customers hold assets (stocks, bonds) while retaining instantly accessible funds and spend functionality.

You’ll drive the EU expansion of this product while developing critical commercial partnerships to deliver the best experience for our customers globally.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Geographical expansion of the Assets product

  • Lead the end-to-end regulatory process (license acquisition, submissions, compliance) in new EU markets.
  • Define the optimal route to market, balancing local customer needs, product functionality, and regulatory landscapes.

✅ Strategic commercial partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with custodians, brokers, and clearing partners critical for compliant worldwide operations.
  • Advise our global partners on expanding offer into new currencies and jurisdictions.

✅ Legacy gap to Local realities

  • Bridge central teams (product & engineering) and regional expansion leads (Asia-Pacific, Americas).
  • Translate global product ambitions into locale-aware execution, driving adjustments for local requirements.

Requirements

🔹 Years of experience

✔ You specialise in investment management/fintech expansion, with a track record in highly regulated environments.

🔹 Doer mentality

✔ High bias for action, capable of unblocking projects independently in a fast-moving environment.

🔹 Regulatory expertise

✔ Hands-on experience drafting licensing applications and submissions from scratch. ✔ Proven ability to navigate local regulators (e.g., FCA, CIRO, FINRA, SEC) and translate compliance requirements into strategy.

✔ Will sit and pass regulatory exams (e.g., CIRO) as needed to support growth. ✔ Aligned with our mission: disrupting finance for good.
