Role: Europe Key Account Manager (EKAM)

A strategic new role to drive regional growth and account maturation for EU-centred multinationals. Report to the Sales Excellence Director, Europe.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Account Leadership

  • Lead and scale multi-country European accounts, serving as the central coordinator between local and regional teams.
  • Ensure full contract compliance and service consistency across the region.
  • Promote best practices and drive process improvements in regional account management.

2. New Business Development

  • Identify and secure new strategic EU headquartered accounts, targeting large multinationals.
  • Elevate high-potential "Large Local" accounts to regional status.
  • Generate leads and collaborate with on-country teams to accelerate long-term revenue growth.

3. Revenue Growth & Retention

  • Drive organic growth through upselling, cross-selling, and footprint expansion within accounts.
  • Maintain retention targets of 90%+ for European/Royal accounts.
  • Use data analysis to proactively manage risks and refine forecasting accuracy.

4. Client Relationship & Collaboration

  • Build long-term partnerships with regional stakeholders, conducting quarterly business reviews.
  • Prioritise innovation and value addition in engagement.
  • Align local Key Account Managers with cross-border opportunities.
  • Centralise regional knowledge/data for smoother collaboration across markets.

Qualification Summary

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 3–5 years of Account Management experience (national/regional focus preferred).
  • Expertise in sectorstaticmethod alignment within sectors like:
    • Facilities Management
    • Food & Beverage Processing
    • Retail
    • Logistics
    • Pharmaceuticals
  • Strong commercial acumen in handling multi-market contracts and tender processes.
  • Proven ability as a "Strategic Connector", unifying diverse market goals.
  • Motivation for senior sales leadership, managing high-value client portfolios.
