Germany, Remote
Permanent, Full-time
Please note that this role requires security checks.
Successful candidates will be employed via our trusted Employer of Record (EOR) partner, which enables us to hire and support team members in countries where we do not currently have a legal entity.
The Role
As European Sales Manager (Germany), you will play a leading role in driving business growth and expanding our presence across the European and NATO defence sectors. Responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, you will build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and strategic partners while delivering ambitious sales objectives and strengthening our position in key markets.
This is a high-profile role suited to a commercially driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about developing long-term client relationships. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, managing multiple opportunities and delivering results through strong communication, problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Fluency in English is essential, and experience operating within the defence environment would be highly advantageous. The role offers significant exposure to customers and partners across Europe and NATO member nations and will require regular overseas travel to support business development activities, customer engagement and industry events.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the European and NATO defence sectors, driving growth and achieving sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major European defence primes, Ministries of Defence (MoDs), NATO organisations, customers and partners.
- Develop and execute sales strategies informed by market intelligence, competitor analysis and emerging industry opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals and commercial agreements to support successful business outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, successful project delivery and long-term account growth.
- Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade exhibitions, promoting capabilities and generating new business opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
