Senior Capital Raising Professional (Private Markets) – London
An established private markets advisory firm is recruiting an experienced capital raising professional to join its team in London, helping strengthen and support the expanding fundraising function.
The successful candidate will play a key role in securing capital from institutional investors across Europe, working closely with senior leadership on multiple fund mandates. Responsibilities include driving LP relationships, overseeing fundraising processes, and delivering successful fund closures.

- Raise capital for multiple fund mandates from institutional limited partners (LPs) across Europe
- Build and expand a robust network of relationships with:
- Pension funds
- Sovereign wealth funds
- Insurance companies
- Family offices
- Other institutional investors
- Originate and deepen new investor connections, increasing coverage of potential LPs
- Lead investor meetings, roadshows, and fundraising presentations
- Contribute to strategy and tactical execution of fundraising campaigns
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in capital raising or institutional sales, ideally within:
- A placement agency or similar private markets advisory firm
- Substantial network of European institutional LH relationships
- Proven experience in supporting or leading large-scale fundraises (preferred)
- Strong background in private markets or alternative investments
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Self-driven, with adaptability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
