Europe+META Commercial Software 4P Business Manager
Accountability: Driving growth, profitability, and market share for Lenovo’s commercial software portfolio in Europe+META.
This high-impact, cross-functional leadership position manages the full 4P suite—Product, Price, Promotion, and Place—and collaborates closely with executive leaders, sales, marketing, and operations. The role reports directly to the Global Head of Commercial Software Business Manager.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the commercial software portfolio, ensuring alignment with global objectives while tailoring to the market.
- Develop and manage the product portfolio roadmap, lifecycle, and transitions to maximise revenue, margin, and market share.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and sales performance to identify new opportunities and optimise business strategies.
- Construct and monitor business plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and sales target setting.
- Oversee product pricing, promotions, and channel strategies in collaboration with sales, operations, and marketing teams.
- Drive execution of demand generation programs, marketing campaigns, and tactical initiatives to achieve financial goals.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key partners, resellers, and major customers.
- Serve as the software subject matter expert, supporting sales enablement and delivering training.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure achievement of regional objectives.
- Provide feedback to global product and pricing teams, representing the voice of the customer in internal strategy sessions.
- Support cross-functional leadership in business planning and strategic projects as required.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business management, or commercial portfolio roles—ideally in B2B software or the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of software product lifecycles, pricing models, and channel strategies.
- Demonstrable analytical skills with experience managing business KPIs, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix, cross-regional environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and execute with distributed teams.
- A high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and strategic agility.
