Application Engineer (EUT)

EUT (European Union Technician) – Application Engineer

Description

The Application Engineer (EUT) is responsible for supporting and maintaining CFC’s internally developed platforms, ensuring high-quality delivery of escalated technical support, application investigation, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

This role operates at a senior level within Application Operations, acting as a key support to the Application Operations Lead. You will:

  • Take ownership of complex incidents
  • Provide technical leadership to offshore resources
  • Ensure continuity of service for business-critical systems
  • Operate independently, making informed decisions and taking full ownership of issues from escalation to resolution

About the Role

  • Own the stability and performance of business-critical applications in a fast-moving, product-led environment
  • Lead resolution of L2/L3 escalations and critical incidents end-to-end
  • Conduct root cause investigations across key platforms and data
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to enhance system stability and delivery
  • Drive automation, reduce repeat issues, and improve operational efficiency
  • Enable offshore teams to maintain delivery velocity

About You

A hands-on problem solver with a product mindset, you thrive in complex environments and are focused on outcomes—not just fixes. You’re confident working with SQL and data investigation, skilled in root cause analysis, and passionate about building scalable, resilient systems.
