EUT (End User Tech) Engineer

Department: Technology Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: UK – London Reporting To: Dan Bryan

Description

CFC is seeking an End User Technology Operations Engineer who keeps endpoints secure, current, and reliable. You will lead vulnerability-driven remediation and patch currency for end-user devices using Microsoft Intune & Apple Business Manager, where applicable, while using Tenable reporting to prioritize and evidence progress.

You will operate within CFC’s documented processes, partnering with security, infrastructure, and the service desk, to reduce risk without unnecessary user disruption.

About the Role

Own and scale how we manage, secure, and update modern endpoints across Windows & macOS in a fast-moving, cloud-first environment.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our estate secure, up to date, and running smoothly — combining hands-on Intune expertise with a focus on automation, patching, and continuous improvement.

  • Own Intune policies for updates, compliance, and device management (Windows & macOS)
  • Drive automated patching through Autopatch/Hotpatch, improving speed and reliability
  • Build and deploy applications using modern packaging (Win32, Winget)
  • Lead vulnerability remediation using Tenable insights and data-driven prioritisation
  • Manage software lifecycle end-to-end — from rollout to retirement
  • Proactively monitor performance, support releases, and maintain production stability
  • Improve tooling, documentation, and self-service capabilities across the function

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
