EV AUTOMOBILE

ENGINEER

We are seeking a talented and experienced Automobile EV Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric vehicle systems, including battery technology, electric drivetrains, and vehicle control systems. As an Automobile EV Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of our next-generation electric vehicles.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development:

    • Design and develop electric vehicle systems, including battery packs, electric motors, power electronics, and control systems.
    • Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for EV components and systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EV systems into vehicle designs.
  • Prototyping And Testing:

    • Build and test prototypes of EV systems and components.
    • Conduct performance testing, durability testing, and safety testing on EV systems.
    • Analyse test results and iterate designs to improve performance and reliability.

  • System Integration:

    • Ensure seamless integration of EV systems with vehicle architecture.
    • Work closely with software engineers to develop and implement vehicle control algorithms.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration and performance.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source components and oversee production processes.
    • Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Innovation And Research:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EV technology and industry trends.
    • Conduct research and development on new technologies to enhance EV performance and efficiency.
    • Propose innovative solutions to improve vehicle range, charging capabilities, and overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electric vehicle engineering, including design, development, and testing of EV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of EV components such as battery packs, electric motors, inverters, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Experience with vehicle control systems and embedded software development is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
