EV AUTOMOBILE
ENGINEER
We are seeking a talented and experienced Automobile EV Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric vehicle systems, including battery technology, electric drivetrains, and vehicle control systems. As an Automobile EV Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of our next-generation electric vehicles.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities

Design and Development:
- Design and develop electric vehicle systems, including battery packs, electric motors, power electronics, and control systems.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for EV components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EV systems into vehicle designs.

Prototyping And Testing:
- Build and test prototypes of EV systems and components.
- Conduct performance testing, durability testing, and safety testing on EV systems.
- Analyse test results and iterate designs to improve performance and reliability.

System Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of EV systems with vehicle architecture.
- Work closely with software engineers to develop and implement vehicle control algorithms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration and performance.

Project Management:
- Manage engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source components and oversee production processes.
- Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and documentation to stakeholders.

Innovation And Research:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EV technology and industry trends.
- Conduct research and development on new technologies to enhance EV performance and efficiency.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve vehicle range, charging capabilities, and overall performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electric vehicle engineering, including design, development, and testing of EV systems.
- Strong knowledge of EV components such as battery packs, electric motors, inverters, and control systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Experience with vehicle control systems and embedded software development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
