Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an EV Chargepoint Installer, covering residential client support across assigned UK regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and create detailed installation plans.
- Install Andersen EV charge points in compliance with UK electrical safety standards and company protocols.
- Perform day-to-day tasks, including:
- Routing and cables connecting.
- Configuring intelligent charging features and solar integration.
- Testing, commissioning optimisation, and proper diagnostic checks.
- Complete all required documentation, permits, and regulatory submissions.
- Offer customer guidance on:
- Safe system operation.
- Basic troubleshooting.
- Optimal use of energy tariffs.
- Coordinate with Client Services for soon-to-be-installation scheduling, follow-ups, and issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience
Technical & Competency Requirements
✔ Strong electrical installation skills, including:
- Domestic wiring experience.
- Proven EV chargepoint installation background.
- Strict adherence to UK electrical regulations.
✔ Ability to:
- Read & interpret technical drawings, product specs, and installation manuals.
- Exercise attention to detail and problem-solving.

✔ Test equipment proficiency:
- Confident use of diagnostic tools for performance, safety, and smart charging verification.
✔ Effective non-technical communication with diverse customer bases.
✔ Competence with digital tools, including:
- Scheduling software.
- Mobile operative apps.
- Online reporting systems.
Valid Certifications & Compliance
- Preferred but not mandatory:
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- Registration with an approved competent person scheme.
- Advantageous but not essential:
- Prior exposure to EV infrastructure solutions.
- Insight into renewable energy technologies.
- Experience with smart home integrations.
Other Prerequisites
- Full UK driving license.
- Time management skills.
- Commitment to safe working practices and high-quality standards.
