Are you ready to make a real impact in the beauty industry? Join us at Boots as an Evaluation Technologist within the No7 Beauty Company’s Research & Development team in Nottingham!

What you'll be doing:

No7 Beauty Company manages its own cosmetic & clinical product testing, to ensure our products deliver real results that our customers will love. Reporting into the Scientific Testing and Validation Manager, you will be working with a dedicated team of Product Performance Testing Technologists to provide the scientific evidence behind the claims we make about our much-loved products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, contracting, and performing cosmetic product studies; supporting the development and launch of great new products.
  • Generating scientifically robust cosmetic product testing plans, protocols & reports.
  • Analysis, assessment & transformation of numeric data to generate performance & marketing claims for use on product packaging, in-store, TV advertising and Boots.com.
  • Clearly and accurately communicating study results with key stakeholders; tailoring delivery style to the specific audience.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves in terms of experience):

  • A degree in relevant subjects or equivalent experience.
  • Experience dealing with large quantities of data, spotting trends, displaying in graphical format, and drawing conclusions.
  • Proficient use in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint – experience using Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to effectively work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
