About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Evening & Night Chef (Monday to Friday, 4:30pm – 1am) to join our culinary team. This is an exciting chance for a passionate chef to grow their career in a dynamic environment where food is celebrated, and talent is developed.
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract Hours Per Week: 40 Salary: Up to £32,500 per year

Responsibilities
- Food Preparation
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and head chef standards while ensuring strict adherence to food safety regulations.
- Station Management
- Oversee production of dishes, maintain stock levels, and keep your assigned area clean and organised.
- Quality Control
- Consistently deliver dishes with high presentation and taste standards.
- Team Collaboration
- Foster a positive team environment; collaborate with colleagues and coach junior chefs for professional growth.
- Menu Development
- Work with the head chef to refine recipes, suggest innovations, and test new dishes.
- Cleaning & Maintenance
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness, organise workflows, and ensure equipment is well-maintained.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent role.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- A solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
