Part Time Housekeeper | Sutton Coldfield | Private Hospital | Permanent | 30 hours per week | Evenings only | £12.76 per hour | Excellent benefits

Spire Little Aston Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our dynamic and experienced Housekeeping team working on a 30 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Spire Little Aston Hospital is a leading private hospital in the Midlands, offering comprehensive hospital care to patients from Birmingham and the surrounding areas of the West Midlands and Staffordshire. The hospital has an exceptional reputation within a variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Cosmetics, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology, General Surgery & Physiotherapy.

As Housekeeper, you will be responsible to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the all areas of the hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean
  • To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH

Who are we looking for?

  • Whilst no formal qualifications are required you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and your personal appearance must be of a high standard, expected in a professional healthcare environment
  • Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer facing environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to establish rapport with all customers
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
  • Maintains high standards
  • Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends

Contract type:

30 hours per week – Permanent contact working 5 days per week on a rota. Please only apply if you can commit to this.
