Evening Room Attendant
Night Shift Housekeeping Attendant
Location: The Raffles London at The OWO & The OWO Residences by Raffles, Whitehall, London
About the Role
Raffles London combines a 5-star 120-room flagship hotel with 85 exceptional branded residences, iconic landmarks including renowned dining concepts such as Mauro Colagreco and The Guerlain Spa, along with a 600-capacity grand ballroom.
This role requires a meticulous and guest-focused Housekeeping Attendant to provide exceptional evening service, ensuring 5-star standards are met through impeccable cleaning, turn-down services, and guest relations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Provide timely and thoughtful turn-down service in alignment with guest preferences
- Support morning shifts upon handover, maintaining workflow and standards
- Preserve cleaning equipment and ensure proper functioning throughout shifts
- Report damage, loss, or defects to linen/furniture/fixtures to your supervisor immediately
- Apply correct cleaning chemicals as per training and departmental guidelines
- Maintain a fully stocked supply area for seamless restocking and quick clean-up
- Escalate urgent issues such as damaged equipment or light bulb failures to supervisors/departmental leads
- Include found lost property and adhere to Lost and Found policies
- Ensure absolute guest discretion by maintaining silence and respect in corridors/out of sight areas
- Deliver a spotless, efficient “5-Star” floor, consistent with Raffles London Quality Assurance (LQA) standards
- Participate in daily line-up meetings and step in as required during manager absence

Additional Duties
- Assigned new rotational tasks when required (e.g., F&B areas, restaurants)
- Perform cross-departmental duties beyond core scope
Health & Safety
- Immediately report all safety hazards for prompt remediation
- Be familiar with departmental fire, emergency, and security protocols
- Maintain a vigilant awareness of health and safety throughout all duties
- Proactively anticipate hazards and correct preventive measures where possible
Requirements
Essential
- Exceptional attention to detail in cleaning and guest service
- Commitment to excellence, delivering five-star experiences under pressure
- Team player with collaborative mindset
- Professional demeanour (appearance, hygiene, conduct)

- Outstanding communication/customer service skills (written + spoken)
- Strong time management with ability to multitask while maintaining image
- Flexibility – readiness to join anytime shift including full 24-hour operational coverage
Desirable
- Previous luxury hotel experience (LQA/Forbes 5-star or equivalent hotel environments)
