Job Title
Evening Room Attendant (Department: Housekeeping | Reports to: Executive Housekeeper)

Role Purpose
To uphold The Savoy’s signature standards of luxury and service, specialising initially in guest room excellence. Through mentoring and progression, you’ll expand to include public areas, cloakroom operations, laundry, and valet services—becoming a skilled multi-functional Guest Servicing Agent. Your dedication to detail, discretion, and guest-centric solutions will elevate every encounter, ensuring five-star consistency.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Room & Environment Care
- Adhere to strict service standards for:
- Room presentation, cleaning schedules, and turn-down service (17:00–22:00)
- Replenishing mini-bar supplies, mugs, glasses, utensils
- Conduct comprehensive audits of occupied/departed rooms, flagging maintenance concerns, and follow-up until resolved
- Maintain speedy, high-quality servicing across corridors, staircases, lifts, toilets, and public spaces
Guest Support & Property Handling
- Manage guest belongings with security, confidentiality, and discretion; liaise with security if necessary
- Handle valet, laundry, and garment services:
- Pressing, mending, and repairing uniforms
- Coordinating dry cleaning and staff garment distribution
- Replenishment of linen stocks, parity checks, and damage reporting
- Offer polite, knowledgeable assistance—navigating guests, resolving queries, and directing them to services
Safeguarding & Polished Execution
- Maintain strict protocols for master keys and key card access
- Spot, escalate, and assist with departure issues (e.g., guest concerns, unstable property)
- Work under direction when required, independently when possible

Qualifications & Competencies
Essential Criteria
✅ Physical demands: Extended periods of kneeling/lifting (limit of 20kg handover), pending, reaching, walking, and standing ✅ Practical resilience: Ability to work efficiently under paced pressure (evential elements: organisation and adaptability) ✅ Personality & mindset: - A ‘can-do’ attitude with emotional agility to navigate change - Unique problem-solving acumen for collaborative environments - Keen eyes and hands—detail orientation paired with clear escalation steps - Altruism: 高度负责.task independence confers empathy but expects prompt accountability
