Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Evening Workshop Cleaner to join our team for a part-time role, working just two hours each weekday evening. This position is ideal for individuals seeking the opportunity to contribute to maintaining a clean and organised workspace. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the workshop remains tidy, hygienic, and ready for daily operations, supporting the overall efficiency and safety of our environment.
Candidates will be required to use a scrubber dryer machine to clean the workshop floor area. Previous experience of using the scrubber dryer is not required and full training will be provided.
Hours of Work
- 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- 2 Hours a day / 10 Hours a week

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of workshop areas, including floors, surfaces, and equipment, using appropriate cleaning materials.
- Ensure waste bins are emptied and waste is disposed of in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas such as corridors, entrances, and restrooms.
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or hazards during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly to uphold a safe working environment.

Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during designated hours.
- Reliability and punctuality are key qualities for this role.
