Events Co-ordinator, International Playoneering Studio
Hayley Peacock Education
Salary: £32,000 per annum, plus a competitive benefits package
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. Occasional evening and weekend working is required to support conferences and professional learning events.
Location: International Playoneering Studio, Holmsted Farm, RH17 5JF, near the village of Cuckfield, West Sussex (office based)
Please note: Due to our rural location, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Hayley Peacock Education delivers consultancy and inspiring learning opportunities for schools, nurseries and organisations across the UK and internationally. Through our Playoneering® approach, we offer conferences, online learning, studio workshops, visit days and shadowing experiences, helping educators to think differently about how children learn best and how to put those ideas into practice in their own settings.
The Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Events Co-ordinator to join our team.
This varied role combines event support, customer service and administration. Working closely with the Hayley Peacock Education team, you will help coordinate our programmes and events, provide high-quality administrative support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the International Playoneering Studio.
You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and well-organised experience for educators, ensuring every programme and event runs smoothly from initial booking through to follow-up. Your work will help our team deliver inspiring learning experiences that make a lasting difference to educators and the children they support.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate bookings and maintain accurate records across our programmes and events.
- Act as the main point of contact for educators, providing professional communication from booking through to follow-up.
- Coordinate visit days to Hayley Peacock’s other education settings - Atelier 21 Future School and Little Barn Owls Nurseries.
- Prepare and send webinar joining instructions, itineraries and delegate information.
- Prepare delegate packs, welcome bags, name badges, registers and event resources.
- Coordinate catering and refreshments for programmes and events.
- Support the team with preparing the International Playoneering Studio for conferences, workshops, programmes and visits.
- Send post-event feedback surveys and complete follow-up administration.
- Coordinate calendars and meetings.
- Maintain digital filing systems and administrative records.
- Manage office supplies, subscriptions and the ordering of event materials.
- Upload supplier invoices, receipts and expense claims to Payhawk.
- Welcome educators and visitors, creating a positive and professional experience.

- Previous administrative experience supporting events, professional learning, training or educational programmes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Confidence using digital systems and a willingness to learn new technology.
- The ability to work collaboratively, use initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Familiarity with monday.com, Dropbox, Calendly or Payhawk, although training will be provided.
- An interest in innovative education.
