About the Role

As our Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our hospitality operations. You’ll lead from the front—supporting your team, ensuring smooth service, and making sure every guest leaves with a great experience.

You’ll work closely with the wider hospitality management team and step up to support senior leadership when needed.

Responsibilities

🔑 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating a team of hospitality staff, team leaders and supervisors to deliver exceptional service
  • Overseeing daily restaurant and event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Managing large-scale service, including functions for 200+ guests and restaurant service of up to 400+ covers
  • Driving high standards of customer service and handling any feedback or complaints professionally
  • Coaching and developing your team throughout each shift to maximise performance
  • Managing stock control, including ordering, par levels, and monthly stock takes
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations
  • Being confident using POS/till systems and resolving issues quickly
  • Collaborating with other departments to create a seamless guest experience
  • Bringing fresh ideas to improve service and enhance the overall guest journey
  • Stepping in for senior managers when required to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements

👤 What We’re Looking For


  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role
  • Proven experience managing high-volume service (200–400+ guests)
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front style
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Solid understanding of food & beverage operations, including cost control
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of licensing law
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and events
