Event Executive

Operations Manager (Conferences) – London

You’ll own and drive the operational excellence of all 10 European private equity conferences we run annually, managing end-to-end execution across venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and attendee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Diverse but centred on core pillars:

1. Supplier Research & Management

  • Scout, assess, and onboard suppliers for strategic and operational needs.
    • Event territories: venues, AV, marketing materials, design print.
  • Negotiate cost-efficient, high-quality contracts with vendors.
  • Monitor KPIs, flag conflicts, maintain accountability.

2. Event Planning & Coordination

  • From sponsor-branded VIP functions to grand event afterparties, you’re the orchestrator.
  • Maintain day-of governance:
    • On-site flawless execution
    • Logistics sync with venues, catering, security.
  • Prolonged tours include on-site support (mid-to-large events).

3. Internal Team Enablement

  • Centralise streamlined workflows:
    • Consolidate query responses into action-tracked channels.
    • Run transparent access to stock/inventory systems.
    • Review event design assets for accuracy (banners, signage, invitations).

4. Volunteer Onboarding, Training & Management

  • Hire, groom, and oversee a 40-person volunteer network to ensure peak execution support.
