Senior Associate – Events Executive (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role
PwC is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Events Executive for a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Event Delivery team. This role requires ownership and accountability across all stages of end-to-end event execution, supporting client-facing seminars and large-scale internal conferences. The team provides professional event management, planning, and delivery—ensuring events align with marketing strategy and drive impact.
This position involves:
- Managing planning, budgeting, and delivery of in-person and hybrid events
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop event concepts
- Coordinating with vendor teams, suppliers, and in-house design partners
- Ensuring compliance with quality, compliance, and preferred supplier policies
The role is ideal for candidates with strong operational event expertise, experience in corporate settings (B2B/professional services), and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Alignment
- Define clear objectives for internal and external events, aligning delivery with marketing and business campaign goals.
- Manage event timelines and budgets, ensuring financial viability and strategic alignment.
End-to-End Event Delivery
- Plan and execute live events, including:
- Venue sourcing and selection
- Supplier and speaker management
- Contract management and negotiations
- Production oversight (video/branding logistics)
- Lead reharsals, stakeholder briefings, and onsite event delivery.
- Ensure seamless execution, managing post-event debriefs and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Supplier Relations
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to refine event concepts.
- Provide expert supplier recommendations, negotiate cost-effective contracts, and uphold preferred supplier agreements.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external partners (e.g., in-house design, AV teams).

What This Role Demands
Core Requirements
- Proven 5+ years in events management, with end-to-end delivery of corporate conferences, B2B seminars, and internal firm events (ideally within professional services).
- Experience with virtual/hybrid event structures and supplier coordination (A/V, print, hospitality).
- Strong financial acumen, including budget forecasting, cost containment, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent oral/written communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder influencing in high-pressure scenarios.
- Ability to schedule, prioritise multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with marketing collateral development and campaign messaging for events.
- Familiarity with PwC’s professional services environment or a comparable firm.
- Knowledge of ** Event Technology Platforms (e.g., Hopin, Bizzabo)** or similar software.
- Proactive approach to health, safety, and accessibility for attendees.
- Packed venue management experience.
