Operations Manager (Conferences) – Senior Level (Private Equity Focus)
This role offers you the opportunity to own the operational standard of every conference we run. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences a year, covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and attendee experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Research & Management
- Source, compare, and secure the best suppliers for all event needs (venues, AV, logistics, etc.).
- Identify and negotiate contracts for add-on services, branding, and event exclusives, ensuring cost-efficiency and high standards.
- Cultivate long-term supplier relationships, addressing concerns proactively.
- Constantly audit budgets, flagging changes early to avoid surprises.
2. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and manage sponsored VIP experiences, including lunches, dinners, and after-hours networking.
- Oversee venue coordination, ensuring technical and operational smoothness.
- Provide on-site support to guarantee flawless execution.
3. Internal Team Support
- Streamline internal operations by resolving queries and clarifying priorities.
- Track and update inventory for conferences (printing, signage, events materials).
- Conduct quality checks for print assets, banners, and promotional collaterals.

4. On-Site Volunteer Organisation
- Recruit, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer team across events.
- Ensure they operate seamlessly, enhancing attendee and speaker experiences.
