Events Manager | London (Hybrid Working)

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead and deliver a high-quality, strategic events programme across UK and international offices. This is a key role offering the opportunity to take ownership of high-profile client events, manage a growing team, and play a central role in driving client engagement.

The Opportunity

  • Lead a diverse events programme including conferences, seminars, webinars, receptions, and client hospitality
  • Take ownership of complex, high-profile and international events from concept through to delivery
  • Manage and develop a team of Events Executives and an Assistant
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and Business Development teams to align events with strategic priorities
  • Oversee a busy events calendar across multiple practice areas and locations
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback, reporting, and performance analysis

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an annual events strategy aligned to business and client objectives
  • Plan and manage events end-to-end, including logistics, suppliers, and on-the-day executives
  • Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and strong return on investments
  • Oversee event communications including invitations, campaigns, and follow-up activities
  • Utilise CRM and email marketing tools to maximise engagement and attendance
  • Track performance metrics including attendance and engagement
  • Collaborate with international colleagues to share best practice and improve delivery

About You

  • Strong experience in events management, including large and complex events
  • Proven experience managing and developing an events team
  • Background within professional services
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and evaluating outcomes
  • Experience with CRM and email marketing systems (Vuture/InterAction desirable)
