Events Manager (Part-Time, 4 Days per Week)

Salary: c. £35,000 (total, not pro-rated) (£43,750 Full time Equivalent)
Location: Central London

I’m recruiting for an experienced Events Manager to join a prestigious organisation based in a historic central London building. This newly created role is ideal for someone from a luxury hotel, private members’ club or premium events venue who excels at delivering polished, high-quality events.

You’ll take ownership of a busy programme of receptions, conventions, symposiums and member events, working closely with senior stakeholders, suppliers, speakers and sponsors. This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll plan, coordinate and run events end-to-end, ensuring exceptional guest experience and seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-profile events including annual receptions, conventions and member gatherings
  • Manage involvement in major industry events and international programmes
  • Coordinate suppliers, venues, AV teams, catering and logistics
  • Act as main liaison for senior stakeholders and member enquiries
  • Lead a key working group and support wider organisational projects
  • Provide administrative and office-management support as needed
  • Ensure events break even financially or generate a return

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
