Events Manager (Part-Time, 4 Days per Week)
Salary: c. £35,000 (total, not pro-rated) (£43,750 Full time Equivalent)
Location: Central London
I’m recruiting for an experienced Events Manager to join a prestigious organisation based in a historic central London building. This newly created role is ideal for someone from a luxury hotel, private members’ club or premium events venue who excels at delivering polished, high-quality events.
You’ll take ownership of a busy programme of receptions, conventions, symposiums and member events, working closely with senior stakeholders, suppliers, speakers and sponsors. This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll plan, coordinate and run events end-to-end, ensuring exceptional guest experience and seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-profile events including annual receptions, conventions and member gatherings
- Manage involvement in major industry events and international programmes
- Coordinate suppliers, venues, AV teams, catering and logistics
- Act as main liaison for senior stakeholders and member enquiries
- Lead a key working group and support wider organisational projects
- Provide administrative and office-management support as needed
- Ensure events break even financially or generate a return

About You
- Strong events-operations experience from luxury hospitality, private clubs or premium venues
- Confident running large in-person events with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on
- Supplier and budget management experience
- Detail-driven, organised and determined
- Experience supervising staff

Working Pattern
- Part-time, four days per week. Primarily office-based with venue visits and on-site event delivery. Some homeworking possible. Occasional out-of-hours work during major events.
