Our client is a globally recognised name in the automotive sector, renowned for innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As part of their continued growth and brand development, they are seeking an experienced Event Manager with a strong automotive background to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-profile events across the market.
The Role
As Event Manager, you will take ownership of the planning, coordination, and execution of major automotive brand events, working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading marketing executives and agency partners to deliver:
- Brand and product launches within the automotive sector
- Media and press events in collaboration with PR teams
- Corporate events, including investor and dealer conferences
- Brand activations aligned with marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Retailer marketing initiatives to localise national campaigns and product launches
- Managing multiple event projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Coordinating with global headquarters and local teams to evaluate, develop, and deliver market-specific automotive events.
- Creating detailed event implementation plans aligned with overall brand and business objectives.
- Collaborating with Marketing, PR, Retail Marketing, Social Media, KOL, Product, Dealer Development, Aftersales, and other business functions to deliver fully integrated campaigns.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Overseeing event execution from initial concept through to post-event reporting, evaluation, and market feedback.
- Presenting event proposals, plans, and walkthroughs confidently to senior management teams.

About You

We are looking for an experienced automotive events professional who combines creativity, strategic thinking, and strong project management skills.
You will ideally have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Project Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management within the automotive industry, OEM environment, automotive brand, or automotive-focused event agency.
- Proven experience delivering automotive brand events, vehicle launches, dealer conferences, media events, and customer experiences.
- Strong understanding of automotive marketing, brand positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and external partners.
- Strong planning, organisation, and execution capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Confidence in presenting event strategies and plans to senior leadership teams.
- Experience working with Chinese automotive brands or within a Chinese corporate environment would be advantageous.
