About LoveBrum

LoveBrum is a Birmingham charity that champions the city’s hidden gems – the incredible volunteer led and grassroot projects making a real difference in communities across our city every day.

We believe Birmingham is full of people doing amazing things, and we’re here to help them be seen, celebrated and supported. Through fundraising, storytelling and bringing people together, we shine a spotlight on local projects that deserve more recognition, helping them access the funding and awareness they need to grow their impact.

If you’re passionate about Birmingham, love creating great content, and want to use your creativity to make a genuine difference, we’d love you to join our team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative Volunteer Event Marketing Content Creator to help tell the story of LoveBrum through engaging content, before, during and after our fundraising events.

Whether you’re looking to build your portfolio, gain hands-on experience in event marketing and social media, or simply want to use your skills to support a charity you believe in, this flexible volunteer role is a fantastic opportunity. You’ll create content that inspires people to get involved, celebrate the impact our events make, and helps more Birmingham causes get the support they deserve.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
