The Role…

This is a high-ownership campaign-driven role—for someone who wants to shape strategy, not just execute tasks. You’ll manage end-to-end marketing for Arena’s event portfolio across three regions, executing campaigns that:

  • Drive delegate registrations
  • Secure commercial sponsorship
  • Ensure 25 successful events per year

Collaborating with Sales, Production, and Delegate teams, you’ll coordinate activities globally while representing the brand at senior clinical trial gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Planning & Execution

✔ Own the campaign strategy for 25 events/year across EU, US, APAC ✔ Build multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn ads, press releases, editorial) ✔ Tailor messaging to audience personas (clinical ops leaders, supply chain, CROs, vendors) ✔ Coordinate sequencing with Marketing, Sales, and Production

2. Lead Generation & Commercial Support

✔ Drive registrations and sponsorships via targeted campaigns ✔ Align campaigns with Sales pipeline goals and account-level targets ✔ Manage HubSpot workflows and campaign segmentation ✔ Track & report metrics for data-driven optimization

3. Content & Messaging

✔ Develop compelling event copy aligned with Arena’s value proposition ✔ Produce LinkedIn insights that drive engagement ✔ Brief and collaborate with design, PR & editorial teams ✔ Maintain brand consistency across all channels

4. On-Site & Cross-Functional Support

✔ Attend events (UK, US, APAC) to support on-site activations ✔ Serve as the marketing liaisance to Production, Sales, and suppliers ✔ Feed post-event insights back into future campaigns

Essential Requirements

✅ 3+ years in B2B marketing, with campaign ownership experience ✅ Proven track record in event marketing (registrations, sponsorships) ✅ HubSpot proficiency or equivalent marketing automation skills ✅ Ability to manage multi-channel/multi-market campaigns concurrently ✅ Strong written communication (emails, LinkedIn, web) ✅ Self-direction—prioritization and deadline management without constant supervision ✅ Data-driven approach to interpreting metrics for stakeholders


Desirable Skills

🔹 Life Sciences/Pharma/Healthcare B2B experience 🔹 Familiarity with clinical trials, CROs, or regulated environments 🔹 Experience with paid LinkedIn advertising 🔹 Collaborative experience across Sales, Production, Delegate teams 🔹 Comfort presenting campaign performance to senior leadership
