EMEA Marketing Event Manager

✈️ Travel: Approximately 30% across EMEA

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced EMEA Marketing Event Manager to join a fast-growing global technology organisation at the forefront of AI innovation.

This role is ideal for a highly organised and commercially driven event marketing professional who thrives on delivering world-class experiences that generate pipeline, strengthen customer relationships, and support enterprise sales teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Working closely with international marketing and sales leaders, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic event programmes, including flagship conferences, executive dinners, customer events, partner activations, roadshows, and third-party industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact marketing events across the EMEA region.
  • Manage multiple concurrent events, including hosted conferences, executive roundtables, roadshows, partner events, customer engagements, and third-party exhibitions.
  • Deliver exceptional on-site event management while ensuring a seamless attendee experience.
  • Collaborate with regional sales, marketing, product, and cross-functional teams to align event strategies with business objectives.
  • Create engaging event agendas and content that effectively communicate innovative technology solutions to enterprise audiences.
  • Build and manage relationships with venues, agencies, suppliers, and event partners across Europe.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasts, timelines, and resources while ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Measure event success through pipeline generation, attendee engagement, lead capture, and post-event reporting.
  • Develop scalable event processes and best practices to support a growing international events programme.
  • Ensure all events comply with regional regulations, brand standards, and operational requirements.

About You

You'll be an experienced event marketing professional with a passion for delivering high-quality experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

You will have:

  • 8+ years of experience managing B2B marketing events across EMEA.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise technology, SaaS, AI, or innovation-focused events.
  • Experience managing conferences, executive events, customer events, roadshows, and partner programmes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple international events simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, working effectively across sales, marketing, executives, agencies, and vendors.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and reporting event ROI.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience measuring pipeline, lead generation, and event performance metrics.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within AI, enterprise software, cloud technology, or SaaS organisations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales and field marketing teams.
  • Strong vendor network across major European cities.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot.
  • Experience delivering executive-level customer engagement programmes.
